“Alex! What the hell?” Joe shouted under the table. Alex scampered out from underneath, still crouched on the floor.

“What took you so long to get my car back?” Joe said with a look of disgust.

“Oh yeah!” Alex shouted, jumping to his feet. “So you guys are nooooot going to believe this!”

Madge and Joe stared at him with bored expressions.

“So yeah! Me and Ryan went uptown to meet some chick. Remember that one chick from Myspace who said she was really hot? Yeah, well, we went to meet her,” Alex said excitedly.

“You borrowed my car to meet some girl you met on Myspace?!” Joe yelled, his eyes piercing through Alex.

“Yeah, and it gets better!” Alex started, “So we go to her house, because she said we had to meet her parents first. Ryan was planning to do it with her, and this was all getting really weird…but anyway! Turns out she was like this scary four hundred pound gothic chick! Her parents were watching television, and I swear they had like ten kids.“

Alex took a breath.
