Aww…that’s really sweet, in a robotic love sort of way…I like how he doesn’t want her to hear him say he loves her, and also the thing about her getting damaged in a crash makes it somehow seem more real.

Interesting. Combining a love story writh robots has got to be difficult…I mean, robots are just so freaky. I kind of feel sorry for the guy, in love with a machine. At any rate, I like the Ficlet.

This is really good. I always comment on kids and why they get wound up when it is bedtime and don’t want to sleep; I always assume it’s because they think they’ll miss something. Seems this AI unit has adapted to that perspective of thinking. And I love the extra beep at the end.

It would have been nice to know more of the history, but I think the vignette works as is. It has a great punchline, which is something a good ficlet really needs.
