I’m a little more open then this. but everyone worries about the future that’s life! As for looks, if everyone was blind then it wouldn’t matter, and it shouldn’t. Relationships shouldn’t be based on how you look. sadly morst of them are, but that’s why they don’t last.

Very open and honest, with a touch of realism at the end. Thanks for sharing. I have noticed as I’ve gotten older how more and more relationships wind up being based on less superficial things.

Being normal is highly overated,I agree with Fae. We of Ficlets are a quirky bunch, the best group i’ve ever been in!!

We have unique minds and thoughts and aren’t afraid to put them up for all to see and comment upon.

I know I live in my own mind. I’m either slowly going insane or reaching that point in life where you really should be a bit more social.

Ficlets is not the place for those who lead normal lives. Welcome and enjoy.

I think you’re too hard on yourself and worry too much about what other people think of you. It’s not necessarily bad, and I’m not trying to insult you. It just seems that way. I mean, I barely know you.
And I agree with everyone else. Normalcy is the death of the world.

I can relate to all of those but #5 especially. That’s EXACTLY how i feel.
