I took a deep breath and got out of the car. I paid the Cabbie his money and walked up to the door. Why is my heart beating so fast? It’s only Emma! I rang the doorbell and waited.
It seemed like forever before someone came to the door. Emma opened it just enough to see out. “Can I help you?” she spat. “I’m a little busy in here.”

So much for she’s forgiven me… “Emma. Can we talk? It has been to long Darlin’, to long.” I said resorting to the accents we use to talk to each other in. I didn’t mean to, it was just habbit when I was around her.

Emma smiled, then laughed. It was so good to see her smile! I had forgotten how gorgeous she really was… “Oh Kelly. Get your butt in here Sweetie.”

“How’ve you been Kel?” Emma asked me once inside her warm house.

“Seriously? Or what I’ve told every other being?”

“Seriously. What happened Kel, Baby?” Emma asked, her voice dropping and she came to sit by me.

“And I know you don’t want to hear it but..” I started to cry again.
