Joy sits alone in her bedroom talking to her friend Cody.
She had been friends with him since Kindergarden. Lately, the two have gotten even closer.They talk on the phone after school . Joy can feel herself falling in love with Cody. Only she is afraid to tell him

” Cody I have something to tell you” Joy said.

“Cody, I don’t know how to say this but I am going to try.”

“ok” he said with a pause

“Cody, I think I am in love with you” She said

“Wow, thats great I guess,” He said. “But I am kinda with someone right now” He concluded.

“What!?” She asked with tears streaming down her cheek.

“Yeah, uh, Tracie Jhonson asked me out last week.” He asnwered.

“Cody, you know you love me, you even say you do, why do you bother with other girls?” She asked

“Joy, I have known you forever, of course I love you. But what would happen if we go out? It would get screwed up!” I am not risking that. . Your too important to me.: He said.
