Cody took out his cell phone and started sending Tracie a text message. With a series of beeps his task had been complete. Joy stood by his side and watched him end his two week relationshp with this girl.

Cody then put his arm around Joy. He looked into her eyes.
“I know that I don’t have to really ask this, but Joy, will you be my girlfriend?” He asked .

“Yes!” She said with a quivering voice. Cody put his hands on her shoulders.

“Those had better be happy tears” He said playfully.

Jill nodded “They are” she said as she laughed.

Cody sat beside Joy on her bed.

“I am so sorry Joy, I never ever wanted to hurt you like that”
He said as he took her hand in his.

“Just promise me you wont ever do it again” She said as she rested her head on his shoulder.

“Joy” Cody said to get her attention,

“yeah?” she said in response as she now was looking into his eyes.

“Kiss me” He said. And she did. They embraced eachother during the kiss. It was one of those soft long romantic ones.
