The Wedding
A young man lay awake in his bed. A woman rushes into the room. “Wake up!” The woman yelled at the man. “Agh! What is it, Mrs. Joston?” He yelled to his wedding planner. “Cody, you need to be awake! Your wedding is in two hours!” And with that, he jumped up, and ate his breakfast, prepared by Jeebus, his robot. He calmed down, and dressed in his formal wedding attire. A white tuxedo, with a black bowtie. And finally, at precisely 9:55 AM, a limousine pulled up in front of his door.
The ride was comfortable. One thought surrounded his mind: Joy. Joy joy joy joy joy. He was quite… joyous. The limo finally pulled up in front of the cathedral. He walked inside, graciously, with his best man, Henry. After a period of time, Joy walked into the cathedral, with her father at her side.
Throughout the precessions, two things clouded his mind. “Joy”, and “I do.” He finally heard, “to be your lawfully wedded wife?”. He spoke, “I do.”
Their kiss was the same as the first day they’d kissed.
Perfect.
