The Marriage (How I live Now Challenge)
We were walking down the sunlit beach on an early Monday morning. I took off that day, and my whole office knew my plan.
“So we’ve been going out for three years now today,” I said non-chalantly.
“Yes, I suppose we have,” she said, looking at me with those big blue eyes. Gosh, she’s so beautiful.
“Well, I have a present to give you. Do you mind if I give it to you now?”
“No, of course not, but where is it?” she inquired, looking around his back and around the beach.
“Well, it’s in my pocket here,” I said.
I heard Ruby take a quick intake of breath. Kneeling on the beach, I took her hand and asked her to marry me.
“Yes, I would love to marry you!” She said through her tears. Our wedding was beautiful, almost as beautiful as her.
We have been married for a year now, still in love. I live everyday knowing that I will always love her. That’s how I live now.
