The real story behind “uselessness” goes back the first web site I built in 1995, the internet stone age. Because I couldn’t think of a practical purpose for it, I called it a “page o’ uselessness.” It was a goofy little thing. Later I assumed this name, which lasted far longer than the site itself. :-)
