Love it! Especially the two hundred too long… that’s the time I say “crap” through gritted teeth and scroll up muttering, “there’s nothing I can take out, maybe I cantake this out- but no that won’t do…….” ;)

haha! i totally agree with Jenunique! that happens on nearly everything I write! but, you know, i’ve always preferred shorter stories to wordier ones that just confuse and annoy (ex: GREAT EXPECTATIONS ! ugh! and i read the abridged version!) so maybe there’s something to this whole character limit business! speaking of wordiness, i’m getting a bit long-winded here!

ugh i totally relate. you get in a groove and the story flows like water. Then all comes to a grinding halt when you see how far over the limit you have gone. Craaaaaappp is what you hear in your head. Your cursor obediently travels up and you scan the story for deleteable sentences.
