Because
She was thinking about why she was sobbing. It wasn’t because of the book. It wasn’t because the song playing in the backround was “What Hurts the Most” by Rascal Flatts. It wasn’t because she missed middle school. It wasn’t because she missed Seth and wasn’t sure about Ben. It wasn’t because she wasn’t sure if her friends really cared about her. It wasn’t because she was overwhelmed.
It was because of all of these things. She sat there crying for what seemed like forever. After she couldn’t cry anymore, she felt amazing. It was strange, but it was like crying had made everything ok for a little while.
For those of you that don’t already know, crying is tiring. Abby fell asleep, at a time that ment nothing.
Saturday at 5:30pm.
Abby was going to a movie with Katelyn, Amber, Seth, Ben, and a few of her other friends. She wasn’t leaving until 6:15, so she had a little while to just chill.
Ring! Ring!
Abby looked down at her cell phone.
Flashing on the screen, was Seth’s name.
