Wow….is this, like someday asked, a true story? When my mother died, I felt like this…and still do, sometimes. And all I can say is, it’s not true that you just forget about the person. A day doesn’t go by when I don’t think of Mom. Wearing a piece of her jewelry, looking at a photograph…it really makes you think, in a way that is both grievous and joyful.
That’s exactly the way it works! The guilt feelings about moving on. But life goes on no matter what and there is nothing we can do about it but deal with it. Laughing one minute and crying the next! Great job!!!
You captured the raw emotion that one goes through while grieving a great loss. You always have the support of friends along the way.. never forget that.
