Sunset at the Beach ((Hardtoexplainmyownfeelins Kiss Challenge))
The sand was warm beneath my toes. A cool breeze blew in off the ocean, playing with my hair. The salt-water was drying on my sun-kissed skin. A smile was permanently stuck to my lips thanks to the gorgeous boy walking next to me.
We stopped walking and he hugged me. He leaned down and kissed me, gently and soft. We stood there in each others embrace for a long time, our shadows growing longer and longer by the second as the sun sank below the horizon.
This wasn’t the only time he and I had been out here like this. We came out here often. This was our ‘spot.’ Things had went like any other night. But this night was special, different somehow.
As the last of the sun was above the ocean line, he pulled away from me. He looked scared and vounerable. I was nervous. Then he pulled sometihng out of his pocket. A small box. He looked at it, turning it round and round with his hands. Then he slowly got down on one knee. He looked up and me and said the words I had been secretly dying to hear.
“Marry me?”
