April and her best friend Judy are in the kitchen doing homework. They are at the table with their assignments.

April and Judy always do their homework together. They have been in each others classes since preschool.
Currently, they are in third grade.

The two have been working diligently for an hour now.

“Hey do you want some brownies?” April asked Judy.
“Sure” was Judy’s response.

The two of them take a study break for some yummy oooey gooey brownies.

“So what was David’s problem today at recess?” Judy inquired.

“I don’t know he got angry about something, he was fine one minute, playing doge ball. Then he gets all mad and leaves the game” April retorted.

“So where are your folks?” Judy inquired.

“Their both at work” April answered.

“Oh” was Judy’s response.

“I hate it it when my dad comes home, he’s always angry and then he starts to drink, which upsets my mom and they start fighting” April confessed.

” Wow that sounds scary” Judy replied.

“You have no idea” April retorted.
