What Time Changes
“What happened here?” Ariel whispered, touching the cracked stone tenderly.
“Time,” Irvin said simply.
“But that couldn’t have been all,” Ariel turned and looked at her comrades in confusion. “I’ve only been gone two years. Last time I was here, this place was… a home.”
Every one of her friends looked away. All but Mia.
“You’ve been gone longer than you think,” she sighed.
