Hahahaa. Sorry, it’s not really a funny story, I’m just proud of myself ‘cause I correctly guessed where this was heading. =]
Anyhow, like everyone said, this is very sweet and sad. It’s great that you could put such emotion into a story about a slightly strange topic.
