I’ve always believed rain to be cleansing. However, your character happens upon it quite suddenly. Now doubt, that could be accredited to the character limit. Overall, very well done.

Yeah, I agree. It was kind of abrupt because of the limit. I wrestled with it for a while, and then I had to go to class. I might clean it up later, or write it as a sequel instead, if I ever get around to it…the story didn’t really go as I wanted it to. :/

If you want to clean this up I suggest to delete the last line. That was where I got confused, I asked, in what other way is the rain cleansing. Of course you don’t have enough space to explain, so nip it. But this ficlet is really strong, really strong, up until the last line. I’m a fan.
