Reunion
My head was a jumble. I hardly remember the leaving my house, or getting to where we were now. Falling asleep was the only logical answer, now that my mind is working a little better, to why it was the next day.
I sat up in the bed I had been laying in and looked around. This place felt familiar yet looked like nothing I could remember. I got up slowly and opened the door. Voices were floating up the stairs.
“We should wake her-” Blake’s voice.
“Let her sleep. It’s been a rough week for her.” This voice was rough and almost familiar.
“Guys! Shh! You’ll wake her if you two don’t quiet down. She’ll get up when she getts up.” This sweet, delacate voice could only belong to one person.
I ran down the stairs. Where I was finally clicked in my brian. I ran straight up to Luciea and gave her the biggest hug I could muster. Then I went up to Holear and hugged him too. I hadn’t realized how much I had missed them.
“Nice to see your awake, but I’ve got some bad knews.” Holear said as I released him.
