At 12 they took a lunch break. Drew and Tom sat next to each other and soon were laughing uproariously. They were sharing an extra-large pizza Tom had ordered. The thirty students talked amongst each other, well-enjoying their break. After lunch they returned to the classroom and got back to work. At 11:00 Tom walked over to Drew’s table, there were only 6 people left in the room. “Hey man, you thinking you’ll be done anytime soon?â€?
Drew shook his head, “No, I think I’ll pull an all-nighter.â€?
Tom nodded, “Alright, see you later then.â€?
On his way out the door he called back, “And buy a car!â€?
Drew laughed and shook his head, returning to his house model. At 4:00 he finally sat back, looking pleased at his handiwork. He pulled a pillow and blanket out from under his desk and stretched out on the floor next to a window.
“Good morning, Sandra!â€? he called to a girl across the room who was also pulling an all-nighter.
She laughed, “Good morning to you to!â€?
He was instantly asleep.
