A Southern Haunting :The Flyin Fedora of Lampshade Alabama
“Sir, you were in the Lampshade Public Libeery this past Tuesday night were you not?”, asked the well dressed out of state reporter.
“Yeah I was”, answered the gapped toothed Lampshadian.
“Did you see a ghost in the libeery, er library?,” The reporter asked.
He answered, “A , yeah I did.”
“Could you tell us sir, in your own words what you witnessed?,” the now impatient reporter asked.
“A, well this here feedora, was a flyin roun the libeery all by itself, I never done did see nothin like it afore,” the libeery patron explained.
“A feedora,.. er fedora , a hat you say was flying around the room, by itself?”, the reporter questioned.
“A, yeah that’s what I dont just tole ya,” the simple eyewitness said.
“It appens ever Tuesday nigh, jus like clockwerk, I’m the libeerian, you ought be innerviewen me, I dun seened the ghost wit my own two eyeballs, an he was awearin that feedora that done beened in the libeery since afore ever even I was borned,” said the now famous libeerian of Lampshade Alabama.
