Should I Know What's Going On?
I watched them fly closer and closer til I couldn’t wait anymore. I flew up to them and past Loni, with her mouth wide open. I didn’t understand why; the traders weren’t dangerous. When they saw me they stopped and a few bags of things fell. I dove and tried to grab them all but heard a crashing sound near the ground.
“Sorry,” I handed off the things to their respective owners who looked a bit abashed, “I’ve never seen you before and I’m excited. My friends think it’s a weird thing to be excited about but…” I was babbling to fill the silence but quieted down when a woman walked through the crowd.
She had long black hair and carried herself like she was important, which she probably was. She flew around me and I somehow knew that it would be a bad idea to run now. She seemed to be satisfied with what she saw and turned to the Traders, “Go on. We’re late as it is and Death won’t wait for you like he did last time even if I’m here.” After she was finished she turned to me. “Let’s go see your father.”
