I also wanted to add that I liked how Pierre makes all these assumptions about Marguerite, like he knows her just because she tried passionately mauling him. He really does fantasize does he not?

Yes, quite the fantasy of assumptions. And a different take on John than I’d been thinking. It makes sense though, the protective friend trying to keep these wanton hussies away from what he thinks is just a diversion for them, one that might hurt his emotionally fragile friend. Oh, the humanity of it all.
