My mom the photogragher

‘Sorry again, mom.’ I said as we drove through the town.
She sighed. ‘What’s done is done, Jo. But next time please try to get home quicker. If there is a next time…’
‘Mom! Of course there will be.’

See, my mom, a.k.a. Olivia DeWaive, is the hottest photogragher this side of the Mississippi. So when editers for Teen Girls Lifestyle Magazine saw her work in a local art gallery, they paid top dollar to get her. Of course, they weren’t the only ones “begging” for her to work for them, but, seeing as how my mom didn’t want to move & she did have me, she decided to work for one the least demanding jobs.
One of the great perks of having a photogragher mother is that, ocasionally, I get to model for the photo shoots.

I sit up as we near the Lifestyle building. ‘See, mom, only two minutes late.’ I said as we entered the parking lot.
‘We still have to get inside.’ she pointed out. As I got out of the car I noticed he was here.
I smiled This day might not end so bad after all….
