You agree that if you want to get to the treasure first (and you do) you will need to be ready to face whatever lies ahead. Fighting Captain Black while exhausted from lack of sleep does not appeal to you. However, the idea that the pirates could sneak up on you while you’re asleep is not appealing either.

You suggest sleeping in shifts, with one of you always awake, to keep an eye out for the pirates, or any other dangers. Who knows what creatures live in the jungles of Calamity Island?

You volunteer to keep watch first, and Joe and Zoe get out their sleeping bags and drift off. Nothing goes wrong, and four hours later you wake Joe to take the next watch, before quickly falling asleep.

Soon afterwards you wake to hear scuffling sounds. What do you do?
