August is alone in her appartment. She is expected to pick up the remains of her marriage that abruptly ended the night before.
Her husband of six years decided to abruptly tear thier life appart. Without warning he hastily and selfishly packed up his belongings and left a cowardly, obsure note.

August had discovered the note last night after coming home from work. At the end of the note, her husband said he would call and explain to her why his stuff was obviously absent from the appartment.

It is now mid afternoon the next day. August is in the bedroom. Attempting to pick up the pieces of a destroyed life. She stands at her bed sorting through her clothes and posessions. Trying to separate her belongings from things he carelessly left behind

After a few minutes of collecting her things, she comes across her marriage certificate. It stared back at her, mocking her. She tore it up in a wave of anger. She was so angry with him. No man should do this to someone they vowed to love. This was so wrong.
