August's World Crumbles

August walks around the room. She needed a break from her task of sifting through her stuff. She walked around the room in a daze. It is still sinking in, that hes not coming back, and that she wont ever hear from him again. This moment is bitter-sweet. She still loved him for the most part. But she realized that the marriage was definately over. She is shocked that it ended like this. August always thought she would have more time to prepare. Part of her hoped that she was the one who would end it. Pull the proverbial plug, and let it die.

Her mind was running in a million directions at once. The walls and her things spoke to her. She was remembering all the time spent here with him. All the fights and the times they were intimate. It was like several songs being played all at once. She begins to feel sick to her stomach. And her eyes well up with tears. They make thier way down her face and start coming closer together and increase in frequency. Soon her lungs start going. The walls hold her pain.
