Nirvana
She is talking to Anna….Not good.
Mel is going to be angry if she finds out that I used to go out with her best friend.
I saw Mel, looking really confused, slide her phone shut. I was just about to say something when Matt interrupted.
“Hey, Mel! Why didn’t you answer my phone ca-” He started, but I grabbed his shoulder.
I leaned in, our heads side my side, both of us facing opposite directions.
“Me and my girlfriend will be talking.” I whispered in his ear. “Don’t bother us.” I said, closing the door in my room shut in his face.
“What was that about?” Melanie said, referring to Anna’s phone call and my whispered conversation with Matt.
“It doesn’t matter.” I said, taking her in my arms. “Nothing does, only us.”
I kissed her. I let the honey smell of her blonde hair creep up my nose as I ran my hands through it.
I felt her smooth back, hugging her tighter.
I can’t believe I forgot how this felt after only a few days.
Nirvana.
