Very nice little tale with lots of subtle detail to indicate background information, like going on autopilot means this has been a long stay with lots of visits. And cheese whiz sandwiches? Oh my word, that sounds horried! Crustless even. Whew, chilling. Whatever she got in the hospital for, eating like that will keep her in. Oh, and welcome to ficlets!

Whoah, this needs a sequel!

The only thing I noticed is that Cheese Whiz is capitalized since it’s a proper noun. At least, I think so.

thanks for the great feedback! I’ll definitely fix the capitalization (definitely my weak point)… my two ficlets are part of the same bigger storyline… just not sure how they fit it yet :-)
