Wonderful, I don’t know how historically acurate it is, but it is certainly enjoyable to be privy to their private thoughts.. Bravo. great entertaining series. LoA
Thanks! I became interested in Henry VIII and his wives after reading The Other Boleyn Girl, and I did some research of my own, wanting to learn more. Every thing in my own little series (which pales in comparison to Gregory’s writing) is historically backed up with the exception, of course, of what his wives said or felt. Thanks again for reading, Scotty, and for your kind comments! =)
Great series!! Henry VIII was a very… ambitious man, all because he wanted to keep his name on the throne. Would you mind if I sequelled later and did things on his children?? I am obsessed with the Tudor history.
I love how all the wives all think that each one of them will be okay, besides the fact that everyone before them thought the exact same thing and….well, “off with her head,” as they say.
You deserve a huge round of applause for this series. You captured each wife’s distinct voice incredibly well. I’m a big fan of historical fiction and what you did with these impresses the heck out of me! LoA
i love catherine parr. she’s one of my favorites, simply because she didn’t allow his reputation to scare her. and i think u really captured that here.
