I thought this was really interesting to read. I’ve read about someone accidentally being stranded as the last man on earth, but never as one who intentionally wants to be stranded. Also, I thought the title was inspired.

It was a childhood dream of mine to either build or otherwise commandeer a spacecraft just so I could escape humanity and live on my own, making whatever I wanted in my replicators and having all of humanities entertainment on massive harddrives so I’d never get bored.
