One of the best examples of how Ficlets has become a true community of writers are the many challenges issued by members to their peers. This was not in the site’s original plan, but one member posted a challenge, giving a set of parameters with which to write his Ficlet. People responded well to this first challenge and more followed. Now members push each other to be more creative with a great deal of regularity
