Ashley and I talked yesterday and she confessed that you had feelings for me, that’s why you tried to come on to her, to make me jealous. Did you really? She also said my mother found out, and that’s why she wrote to your uncle. She wanted you out of the way. Out of the way so Alec could step in. I don’t want Alec to step in.

I know you like to pretend that you are very satirical and sarcastic and full of angst, but I know the truth, Kingsley. And, frankly, you shouldn’t hide from it.

I think that I finally stopped hating you today.
