The Jonas Robbery Part 19: Getting Out Of The Hospital
After the nurses had got me settled into bed, my parents and the boys came back in. Mom was still smiling. Nick, Kevin, and Joe were too. Oh no. My mother had probably told them everything about me. My dad had a stern look on his face.
“Honey,” Mom said, “We need to get you a cast for your ankle. Nick, Joe, and Kevin told us all the details about what happened. They said they want to come with us to the doctors where you have to get your cast.”
“Okay,” I smiled. I thought that they should call their parents or something, but I wasn’t going to look for a reason for them to leave.
The doctor’s office was just down the street, so they released me from the hospital.
We all piled into my parents’ sports car and headed for the doctor’s. Nick, Kevin, Joe and I were squished together in the tiny back seats. But I didn’t mind.
“So, what did you guys talk about?” I curiously asked.
“Well, they told us exactly what happened at the groccery store. I can’t believe how brave they were!” Mom said.
