Nice, this actually kind of fits the theme of the current ficlets blog. I like the idea of a reverse revolution as a bit of a morality tale. Never give up! Never surrender.

Only we weren’t losing our heads, we were losing ourselves< powerful line. when good people do thing… hen they came for us, there was no one left to defend us.. makes one think about history and making like lambs to the slaughter, and doing nothing to stop it.
