Senses on Fire
This is amazing. My senses were on fire. Even though I couldn’t see anything, but the sounds were beautiful. The light breeze tickled my hair, sending excited shivers down my back. It was so quiet, I think I could hear Hayley’s soft breathing. I wanted to stay like this for as long as possible.
“It’s beautiful out tonight.” I said, staring out at the nonexistent stars.
“Yeah,” She said. “this is a nice spot you picked out.”
“I go to it all the time.” I lied. “You look awesome.”
It wasn’t exactly a lie, because she probably does look good. Maybe it’s just her voice. I don’t really care since I’m never going to get my sight back, it doesn’t matter at all. As long as it’s just us right now
I turned over to her.
I have to tell her.
“Hayley.” I said.
“Hmm?” She said, I heard her turn towards me.
I slowly took off my sunglasses.
I heard Hayley gasp.
“Tyler!” She exclaimed. “Are you-”
“Yes, I’m blind.”
