Under the Stars
I stared at him. How the hell did I not notice that! I just couldn’t not look at his eyes! They were amazing! Dark blue around the very edges, an ice blue came next, then a sea weed green, and then right around the pupil was yellow.
“You’re mad. I knew I should have told you sooner!” He looked sadden. “N-No I’m really not! I would have preferred you tell me soon. But it’s not like I would treat you any different.” He looked away, obviously not okay. I need to show him I’m totally fine with it!
There was only thing I could do to make him believe.
I went on my knees, him back in his laying position, glasses off. I put both my hands on his cheeks, slowly bent down, and kissed him. I could feel his eyes fly open, which made me smile. I stopped kissing him and rested my forehead on his. I looked in his eyes and said, “I liked you before I knew you were blind, and I still do and always will.”
He smiled, we kissed again, and smiled at eachother for a time I wish would never end…under the stars…
