All that happened was a little shake. The ground seemed to move up then change it’s mind and move back to it’s original spot. I heaved a sigh of relief and Tristan looked relieved but disapointed, too. I was just about to ask him why when I fell forward and hit my head on the wood floor.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m no stranger to falling; but this time it wasn’t my own clumsiness that made me fall. A satisfied grin made itself comfortable on Tristan’s face before he too fell on his face and the house lurched forward and backward again and resounding screams flew up the stairs.
“Incanti mor privum!” I don’t know how he did it but Tristan was standing tall after his little fall and at his words the house resumed it’s normal state of being and I cautiously got to my feet.
“What was that?!?”
“That?” Tristan turned to look out my window and he was grinning at me when he turned back around, “That was no beginner spell.” When I looked puzzled he gestured for me to look out the window.
“No…”
