Awesome Doesn't Begin to Describe It
“I did that?” I whispered as I looked out at my neighborhood, or, what was left of it. It looked as if a giant earthquake had rushed through; which, I realized with a jolt, is exactly what I made happen.
“Yes,” I didn’t turn around but stayed to observe the reckage.
“Awesome.”
“What?” Tristan yelped. I turned around and he was looking at me with rage filled eyes. “You’re glad all this destruction happened?” he asked, gesticulating through my open window.
“No!” I cried indignantly. “However, I just managed to create a massive natural disaster with a spell most people would have trouble making tip a glass of water over! That is awesome.”
We stood facing each other for a couple of minutes before I became painfully aware of what had happened when I heard the sounds of distress coming from downstairs. Tristan heard them too and suddenly his face lit up.
“I know what we’ll do,” he said with an evil grin, “Here’s your test: fix it.”
