The Jonas Robbery Part 28: The Phone Call
I awoke to the ringing phone. Both my parents were still asleep, so I stumbled downstairs with my crutches and into the kitchen to answer it. “Hello?” I said in a sleepy voice.
“Hey. Is this Emily?” I voice asked.
“Yeah….Wait….Nick?!”
“Yeah,” he replied.
“Haha! Hi!”
“Hey, we have to leave for Dallas in about an hour and a half. We’re downtown at the airport right now. We were just wondering if you wanted to stop by.”
“We have something to give you!” I heard Kevin call out in the background.
“Oh my God, okay!”
“Alright. So, we’ll see you soon then?”
“Yeah, totally!”
“Okay, bye.”
“Bye!”
As soon as I hung up the phone, I rushed upstairs (as fast as I could with a broken ankle) and into my parents room. “Mom! Dad! You have to get up! We have to go downtown to the airport to see the Jonas Brothers!”
