“What?” Mom asked.

“Nick just called! He said they’re gonna leave for Dallas and they have something for me and we need to go to the airport where they are and get it!”

“Um, okay,” Mom said.

“We have to hurry! They’re gonna leave soon!” I yelled.

“Okay, okay,” Dad replied.

Within five minutes, we were heading down the highway. I was so excited I couldn’t even sit still.

When we arrived at the airport, the Jonas Brothers were standing near the cafe, with about ten security guards around them.

“Hi!” I yelled.

The boys and all their security guards looked up.

“Hey!” Kevin yelled back. I approached them.

“It’s okay, guys. She’s with us,” I heard Joe tell the guards.

“Look!” Kevin exclaimed as I came up to him. He handed me a small silver chain with a pendant dangling from it.
