With the man of her dreams and her nightmares behind her, Jenny Callahand edged slowly to the Library door. She heard her name being called over and over but dared not turn around. She let her mind get the best of her as she walked inside the library. Scurrying down the aisles of books, she tried to escape the man who left her pregnant at 15. After sitting down for a few minutes she calmed down and convinced herself she’d lost him. Wiping the tears from her cheeks, she walked down an aisle with a sign marked Romance to look for a book. She didn’t notice that a man with a long dark coat and a cap on was in the same aisle. Reading and walking, she bumped into the man and dropped her book. Jenny reached down for her book when she felt his hand fall gently on hers.
