Time for Me to Fly 13

“How could you not tell me this?! I can’t believe you. I…don’t have anything else to say to you.” She turned at looked at the windshield. I put my wallet back into my purse, the picture still in her hand. I pulled out of the school parking lot.
When we got to her house, I stopped the car and turn it off. She put her hand on the handle and then hesitantly pulled it off again.
“I don’t know what I am going to say to them.” She said.
“Just be yourself they’ll love you.” I said reassuringly.
“And you asked that it’s alright if I come?” I nodded.
“It’ll be my first time actually going on tour with them also. And I haven’t seen them in almost a year now.”
“But you talk to them everyday.” I nodded again.
“Okay.” She said quietly. “Okay.” She repeated this time with more enthusiasm.
“You’re not off the hook though. You’re still in trouble. We’ll have to talk about this more later.” She said sternly. I smiled at her. I should’ve known she would take it great. That’s just how Dizzy is.
