Time for Me to Fly 14
When I was packing after I got home. My phone started buzzing again.
“Hold on.” I said when I flipped it open. I was busy trying to zip my overflowing suitcase. When I finished I picked the phone back up.
“Sorry. Hey Trey.”
“Hey. So you tell Dizzy yet?” Trey knew me all to well. While I was close to the whole family, Trey and I were inseperable when we were together. He sometimes knew me better than I knew myself.
“Yes. And you were right. She took it great, mind you I am in trouble. And it will take a while before she gets over my lying to her…but she will be totally excited to meet you guys.”
“Fantastilistic.” He said and I giggled, “I haven’t seen you in so long!”
“I see you everyday.” I said laughing, but I wasn’t kidding. He was in the newspaper this morning because they were coming to town tomorrow and we would be leaving with them.
“You looked so old!” I exclaimed.
“That sucks. I thought the Olay age defying body lotion was working.”
I laughed, “I can’t believe you know what that is.”
