I watched a movie the other day titled Fracture – the killer (Anthony Hopkins) was an engineer who payed such close attention to detail, he got off the hook for killing his wife. This ficlet sounds a lot like something he would have said when he finally did confess. Great observations / attention to detail.

Nice up close look and heck of a moral, the simplicity of killing in a modern age.
