Running Away Part 1
I’m sure one day I’ll look back on that day sometime in the future and laugh. It was one of those moments where, at your 25th high school reunion, you will be sitting at a table with some old friends and someone will mention that fateful day; that fateful day when you literally ran away from a boy.
But for now it is just a memory of ultimate embarassment.
It started out as such a GREAT day. A fun morning hanging out with my friends, no homework, and deep down, i knew something big was coming; no day could have been that great without some sort of catch.
“C’mon Jessica, let’s walk THIS way,” my friends giggled as they steered me down a crowded hallway. “No way! HE eats down here!” “Oh c’mon,” Sylvia said, “We’ll go outside then you big baby.” If only i knew what she had in store. I soon found out though.
We continued with our usual conversations and jokes about evets during our days as we rounded the corner and the bleachers came into view.
There were 3 students sitting there casually.
