Running Away Part 2
We rounded the corner to see three lone students sitting on the bleachers quietly talking. I paid no attention to them as I wasn’t expecting anything different… that is, until I found out that Sylvia had had an alternate motive.
“Dang! I could’ve SWORN he ate out here!” I stopped walking. “Do what?!” “I mean… oh heck. Yes. I saw Matt out here the other day with his friends and I wanted you to come out here and we could walk past… like old times!” i hit her across the arm. “What was that for?!” “For trying to embarass me! I know what y’all were REALLY planning to do once we came into view…” The whole group of girls laughed, and I even joined in- they WERE my best buddies after all.
Sylvia was extremely upset. “I SWEAR I saw him eating with his friends out here just yesterday!” I laughed. “Sylvia, it’s fine. I really didn’t want to be embarassed on my perfect day anyways. Sorry your plan didn’t work out though!” I yelled as I began to laugh at her downfall.
