Went through a few arcade games, but settled on SMB for the NES . Just been wanting to use that magic mushrooms reference for a while. ;)

You’re retro music challenge inspired me to keep the 80’s challenges flowing… Nicely done – I’ve always thought Mario’s world was super-psychedelic drug inspired. Turns out the Shigero Miyamoto was just one lonely kid growing up in Japan with a wild imagination. You did the game justice! Great work!

Great stream of consciousness description of the game. So many games had such wild set-ups and scenarios that some unsuspecting schmoe was just dropped in. Very amusing.

When I found out the the game I loved so much at the grocery store (SMB) could be played at home on a television… BOOM . My mind blew. The beginning of the end.
