Would Anyone Miss Me?
“Happy birthday to you”
I groaned and rolled over. “Let me sleep!” I complained. They should know I like to sleep.
“Oh come on. It’s 10 o’clock.” My mom said as my brother came and shook me awake.
“Fine, fine.” I grumpled and pushed myself out of bed. They finally left me alone, and I checked my phone to see if I had any messages. Just one. I went downstairs to open gifts from my parents.
The day progressed and I got two more messages from my friends. I was a little disapointed, but what can you do?
“Sweety, you want to go shopping?” My mother asked.
“Sure.” I answered, smiling. Bad choice, but I didn’t know. We left to go shopping, and everything was going good. I bought some shorts and a necklace.
Driving home my mom and I were talking and having a good time. We were so caught up in our chat, neither of us noticed the drunk driver swerving in and out of his lane coming towards us. Seconds later the car hit us.
I remember wondering if anyone would miss me if I were to die right now.
