Willow vs. The Giant
Willow stared out the window. It took him a few seconds to realize what he was staring at. The image brought to mind his memories of family reunions where everyone had far too much to drink. He began to wonder if it was actually there or if the shadows of the low-hanging clouds were playing tricks. Perhaps it was something else entirely. But he rubbed his eyes and focused more carefully. It was there, sure enough. There was no denying it now.
It was some sort of giant vine lying across the back yard, splitting his fence in twain. Sprawled next to it was the body of a giant. Willow pulled on his jacket and picked up his chainsaw, then called into the next room.
“Call the neighbors, Essie! Beans and sausage for dinner tonight…and plenty of it!”
