Hilarious! :D This makes me want to come up with my own list of “de-comma’d” statements. Did you ever hear of or read the book “Eats, Shoots and Leaves”? It’s all about this kind of stuff. Apparently there was an encyclopedia listing about a panda bear that read: “The panda eats, shoots and leaves.” (Funny mental picture of a panda walking around with a shotgun.. wait, no, that’s just scary.) This is excellent!! I would love to see sequels of this. One of my favorite reads is called Anguished English: An Anthology of Accidental Assaults Upon Our Language; a compilation of reports, essay, research papers, etc. turned in by students of all ages. Hilarious in its accidental sincerity. Great job Stovo. (BTW, the comma is my favorite punctuation mark.)
lol! i can’t believe you made that into a ficlet! that’s funnnyy=D! “Let’s eat, Grandpa!” “Let’s eat Grandpa!” Punctuation Saves Lives!! ~ props to iconator.com =].
